To start, make sure you have the necessary Audio Kext for your Hackintosh.
Find your Layout ID
To make our audio detect, adjust volume and play sounds we have to first find something called “ALC Layout ID.”
Download the latest release of Hackintool.zip from HERE
Install Hackintool on your Hackintosh and run the App.
Now Click on the Sound Tab and select your Audio device from the list.
Under Audio Info you should see ALC Layout ID.
You should see different numbers under the layout ID which we are going to use in the next section.
Now Open your config in Opencore Configurator or Propertree and edit boot args under:
├── NVRAM > Add > 7C436110-AB2A-4BBB-A880-FE41995C9F82 > boot-args.
Add alcid=11 to the other boot arguments at the end.
Replace 11 with values from your ALC Layout ID we got earlier.
We have multiple values so try one after the other till the audio and volume control works.
